2017 has been such an eventful year for me. There has definitely been many ups, but also many downs. I guess we all have bumps in the road through our journey, and not everything is pretty perfect and exactly how we want it always. Overall, it's been incredible. I've met many new lovely people, gotten closer to others, met my amazing boyfriend and definitely learned so much through out the last 365 days. Now, I haven't been as active on the blog as I would like to be, and I want to start out with a post based on the things that I especially want to focus on in 2018 -

Usually I get described as a very positive human being, and I would also like to think that of myself. There's nothing more important than being open minded, bringing positive thoughts and joy out in the world. Sometimes life gets difficult, and as I mentioned earlier; there's bumps in the road that affects you more than others. Normally I tend to shake off all negative energy around me, but at times it's not as easy as you may think it is. Sadly, it's no shocking news. Therefore I want to focus a lot more on all the positive in my life in 2018, appreciate more, love harder and be as thankful as I can be. Life is way too short for anything else.

It's not a secret that I haven't been as active as I could be. I mean, my last blog post was published in October - and that says a lot. I have absolutely no excuse. Like many others, I've had my good and bad days when it comes to blogging. Because I tend to change my mind constantly, I overthink every tiny little thing when it comes to publishing a blog post, so I decided to lay it out for a bit, and come back stronger when I felt ready. In 2018 I want to be more relaxed. Share from within my heart, but at the same time rusting my gut. You'll see more of me.

It speaks for itself, doesn't it? If there's something I want to do, I'm going to do it. If there's somewhere I want to go, I will do everything possible to make it happen. I want to work harder, dream bigger and live my life to the fullest. I've come to realize that there's so, SO much more to life. If I set my mind to something, I will not let myself down. Not again.

Last, but not least; focusing on the good. It similar to number one, but still worth mentioning. Whether it's the good in me, the good in others or the good in life. I believe that we sometimes, just sometimes, forget. I can admit that to you, and I can admit it to myself. It's sad, because it's important to remind yourself, whether you're going through the worst heartbreak - or failing the most important exam at school/university; that everything will eventually be okay. Pull yourself back up, have strength and try again.
